Give your goods another good use.

Donating new or gently used items is one of the most direct ways you can support Portland’s houseless population. We believe that there are enough essential living items for everyone; we just need to get them in the right hands.

Your in-kind donations can impact homelessness in one of three ways:

  • Personal items—clothing, shoes, linens, etc—will be shared directly to individuals staying in a Do Good shelter

  • Household goods and furniture are given to people transitioning from homelessness into permanent housing so they can make their new space a home

  • Harm-reduction supplies like blankets, tents, or any surplus items will be directed to partner organizations or given to those currently living outdoors

What Do We Need Most?

  • Pants (jeans, sweatpants, shorts)

  • New underwear and socks (all genders, sizes)

  • Winter coats & gloves

  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, dental, deodorant, shaving supplies)

  • Box Springs & Bed Frames (twin, full, queen)

  • Loveseats & Arm chairs

  • Bed and bath linens (bath towels, blankets, and twin/full/queen-sized sheets)

To make things easy, we’ve created an Amazon Wish List! Just add an item to your cart, enter the Do Good address for shipping, and we’ll take it from there.
